Getting Help
If you are a veteran in need of housing or other community resources, we encourage you to call the Valor Home so that one of our support workers can direct you to the available services and resources. If you are a friend or family member of a veteran who is in need, you are also welcome to call us at anytime at (330) 773-7000
Your call will enable us to complete a phone assessment – the first step in finding the services you need. All information given in this phone call is classified, with the exception of extreme situations where you are a danger to yourself or someone else, or we are given information about child or elder abuse taking place.
Valor Home is open 24/7 and staffed by support workers who are trained to asess your situation.This call is the first step to helping you find the resources that will help you succeed.
Valor Home of Summit County is a long-term therapuetic community for qualifyiing homeless or imminently homeless male veterans. While we are more than happy to assist you, it may be that our facility is not the best fit for your needs. In these cases, our support workers will get you help through other community resources or affiliated programs that can better cater to your circumstances.
